Aldsworth Village Hall

The village hall was designed for the millenium, and was open by Princess Anne on 9th September 1999. The hall aims to provide a community building for all those that live in the Parish of Aldsworth. It is the center of many village activities, including the summer fete.

The village hall is available to hire for a variety of different occasions, perfect from parties to corporate events. Previous events have included meetings, parties, and wedding receptions, and training sessions, and there are clubs that also take place here. Rooms within the hall include a kitchen, a commity room, a heritage room, and a projector room complete with projector, screen and sound system. Please note that marquees will need to be hired from an external provider.

Please go to the Bookings page for further enquiries or to book.

Located next to the hall is the tennis court, which is available for any villager to use. If you wish to make use of the tennis court please contact Rachel Emmerson (844532). There is an annual subscription of £5 and you will be told the code for the lock when this has been paid.

There is no longer a post office in the village, however we are lucky to have a mobile post office up at the village hall. It is open every Thursday between 9:30am and 12:00 noon. Here you can buy stamps, send parcels and collect your pension, plus more.
